On 28th August this year, Ferrari became really the first team to reveal their precious car just ahead of the new Formula One season. Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa had the honour to take the wraps off their latest challenger, the F150, at the team’s factory in Maranello. The chosen name of the car comes from Ferrari’s desire to pay tribute to this year, because it is the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.

Alonso shared that he is really motivated and also excited from what he went through last year. He is pleased by the team as it is really passionate for a new driver. F150 is said to be the fruit of hard work for months and it is expected to bring a lot of success and great results to Ferrari’s team.

When the 29- years-old Spaniard finished as runner-up in the championship last season, he found himself already better equipped for the big fight. He shared with the sources that he feels better, because he knew the team he is working with now, he knows the mechanics, which is good for integrating within the team. He also mentioned that he has a feeling it will be a bit easier to adapt to the new Ferrari car- F150.

In the interview Massa said that this car is the first step towards that. The car we are going to see in Bahrain will be absolutely different from what we see in the first test week in Valencia. He is expecting and also hoping that they will be successful and enough motivated to gain the results they are going to fight for. F150 is really amazing and completes the driver skills of the best members of the Ferrari teams.

Formula 1 cars have evolved over the years. In fact, the technological advancements in Formula 1 cars are so rapid that from one race to the next new improvements emerge which can give a particular team an advantage over their competitors. Today’s Formula 1 cars have only one seat, an open cockpit, open wheels, and very large wings on the front and back that help keep the car close to the ground. In modern Formula 1 cars, the engine is situated in the rear part of the car, behind the pilot. Formula 1 regulations are very strict, and unique to the Grand Prix. These regulations state that every racing team must construct their own cars. However, they can hire others to design and manufacture their racing cars.

Formula 1 cars use technology that is very advanced. Technological advancements in Formula 1 cars allow them to have a very high acceleration and top speed. It is typical for these cars to be able to go from zero to one hundred miles per hour and back to zero in less than five seconds! Formula 1 cars must also be able to turn corners at a very high speed. These cars are well known for their cornering abilities, being able to grip a curve at much higher speeds than regular racing cars. Formula 1 pilots are required to perform neck strengthening exercises because of the sheer amount of force that these fast turns exert on the human body.

The factors that influence a Formula 1 car’s acceleration include its light weight; it’s extremely powerful engine, its aerodynamic design, and tires that are designed for extremely high performance. Formula 1 cars are mainly centred around achieving acceleration, rather than on achieving top speed. Typically, a Formula 1 car will not only be able to speed up, but also decelerate and accelerate while negotiating a turn.

The world has waited with bated breath for the release of the newest F series from Italian exoticar manufacturer Ferrari. The car brings with it a completely new forged aluminium 4.3I V8 Ferrari mill that boasts direct fuel injection and corrals 460 horses that can drive this beast to the insane speed of 193 miles per hour. The first 60 of that nearly 200mph goes by in less than four seconds, a fact guaranteed to delight those who like the neck-snapping feel of dropping the pedal on a powerful machine like the California. The V8 engine retains that hallmark Ferrari snarl while it’s pushing those horses to turn the 7-speed, dual clutch transmission.

Rninfarina has excelled themselves in the smooth, curving, aerodynamic design of the California, which delights visually and performs functionally. The manufacturer claims the body has been designed to provide variable down-force as speed increases, while creating a car that offers the highest possible efficiency for a vehicle of this performance level. The vehicle’s design betrays the unmistakeable legacy of Pininfarina beauty, and is deserved of its “California” appellation – land of beautiful people and beautiful cars.

Weight distribution is the nearly ideal 53/47 rear/front distribution, helped by the front-mid engine design, providing the California with great lateral acceleration and ground-hugging, curve-handling prowess. The California combines an aluminium chassis, forged wheel rims, reduced weight, and composite carbon-ceramic brakes to give an overall driving experience that’s nothing short of hypnotic in performance and handling. The reduced weight, produced by careful materials choice throughout this machine, produces a vehicle that delivers a fuel efficiency never before found in a Ferrari, along with incredible horsepower to weight ratio, exceptional handling, and excellent cornering and braking. The Ferrari exclusive Fi-Trac traction control system came from the California’s older brother, the 599 GTB Fiorano, and has been further specifically tuned.

The competition between car manufacturers this year is as hot as the sun; the main focus is on increased fuel efficiency to help you reduce the amount of money that you would have to spend on fuel. The starting price for a really small car like the 2012 Nissan Versa is about $11,000, you get to pay $45,000 for the Audi A6 and for most mid-range cars $50,000 and a whopping $1.7 million for the Bugatti Veron.

There are lots of reviews out there for different cars but here are a few tips you should consider when buying any of the newest models. The first one is that the newest models of cars come with a few kinks of their own and so, if we were close pals, I would suggest that you wait a few weeks to a few months before rushing off to the showroom with your credit card.

Secondly, make sure that you have decided what you want before you head over to the show room because as soon as you get there, you might come back home with something that would not fit your need exactly and you would ask yourself what went wrong. So just pick this and many other reviews about cars you like and others that might just pop up on the radar.

Third, pick a car that speaks out loud in one single glance the image you want to project nothing says big and bold more than a very big car like the hummer or any other jeep for that matter, sexy cars like the BMW tell the ladies that you like adventure and that you are ready for some fun.

The Fourth and most important factor is to watch your pocket bro! Toyota, Honda, Ford produce nice cars, just pick one and forget about the whole thing they all look the same anyway right?

Car shows are a popular venue for viewing the latest concept cars and most recent model cars from Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Jaguar, and other luxury car makers. The imagination and inventiveness of carmakers and engineers is displayed for all to see. Even for people who never intend on purchasing a luxury car, car shows are a great way to see the latest technology and aesthetics in car making.

Many car shows celebrate certain types of cars, such as cars of the future or classic cars that have stood the test of time. Some car shows are all about muscle, with big engine cars roaring and chrome polished to the hilt. You are likely to see American muscle cars like the Corvette and Mustang, but also classic Porsche or MG triumphs. You can go to car shows highlighting personalized and customized versions of off-the-line cars hosting bright and colourful paint jobs, custom interiors with leather, fur, and even designer logos like Gucci or Versace.

Still other car shows concentrate on showing the latest model cars from all standard consumer brands like Toyota, Nissan, Subaru and the like. By far, though, one of the most popular car shows is for high end cars. The car world will always try to compete with Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, and Audi, for example, because they set the standard for luxury in automobiles.

No matter what type of car show you go to, you can find detailed information on the Internet, sign up in advance for preferred seating or standing room only shows, and sometimes even get a picture with a favourite celebrity who may be on hand to promote the car. Pretty girls are often a welcome distraction from all that shining steal chrome and rubber, and many car aficionados also appreciate the models as much as the cars themselves.
